Therians are people who identify, in a non-physical way, as a non-human animal. The animal is called a theriotype. Many express it through gear such as handmade masks and tails, and through profile pictures that show the theriotype's ears, colors and habitat.

This maker opens on Skin and ears. Choose the ears nearest to your theriotype and set the fur color, then build the rest around it.

Showing your theriotype

Ears and tails follow the hair color, so set that to the fur color first.

Fox, wolf, coyote, dog: Fox ears and Fox tail. Red-brown for foxes, grey for wolves, tan for coyotes.
Cat, big cats: Cat ears and Cat tail. Add Sharp eyes for slit pupils.
Rabbit, hare: Bunny ears and Bunny tail.
Bear: Bear ears, with Thick brows and dark fur.
Other animals: use the closest ears and carry the animal through color and markings.

Masks, markings and gear

Masks are a big part of therian gear. The Eye mask in the Glasses tab gives a half mask in any color. Whiskers in Details adds an animal nose and whiskers. A Scarf or Choker from Neck can stand in for a collar or bandana. Keep natural fur colors for a realistic look, or go bright if your gear is colorful.

Habitat backgrounds

The background can show where the animal lives. A green to gold Gradient reads as forest and field. Stars on navy suits nocturnal animals. Clouds on sky blue works for open country. Solid earthy colors, moss, bark and sand, keep the picture calm and grounded.
