A quirk, a hero name and a costume. Build your own student, pro hero or villain.
A My Hero Academia OC has three parts: a quirk, a look that hints at the quirk, and a hero costume that solves a problem the quirk creates. Get those three working together and the character feels like it belongs in the series.
The maker opens with a student in a grey blazer, which stands in for a school uniform. Switch the top to design the hero costume.
Quirks in the series fall into three groups, and each one affects appearance differently.
Make two versions and keep both links. For school, use the Blazer and tie in grey with Jeans in dark blue or a Pleated skirt. For the hero costume, think about function. A Cape and Eye mask is the classic look. The Open jacket with Cargo pants suits practical, gadget-based heroes. The Tunic with Platform boots works for bold, armored designs.
The best quirks in the series come with a cost. Overuse hurts the user, or the power depends on something they can run out of. Give your OC a drawback and then let the costume answer it: gloves, a visor, support gear. Write a hero name that plays on the quirk and you have a complete profile.
Load a look into the maker, then change whatever you like.
