Discord Avatar Maker: Your original character

Discord Avatar Maker

Avatars for your account, your bot and your whole mod team, in one matching style.

Your own profile is only one of the avatars on a Discord server. Bots need one, and a community looks more organized when the staff share a style. This page is about making a set.

It opens with a robot-style character wearing the Visor, a natural look for a bot. Change it into anything you need from there.

A face for your bot

A bot with a default icon looks unfinished. A simple character makes it feel like part of the server.

  • Make it look like a helper. The Visor or Dot eyes with Headphones reads as a friendly machine.
  • Use grey or pale skin to separate bots from human members at a glance.
  • Give each bot its own color. Music bot in purple, moderation bot in red, welcome bot in green.
  • Keep the background solid so the icon reads in the member list.

Matching staff avatars

Build one base character and press Copy link. Send it to your moderators. Each person opens the link, changes the hair and face to suit them, and keeps the same background color and one shared item, such as the same headphones. In chat, members can spot staff by the shared look before they read a role name.

Events and seasons

Communities often change icons for events. With the Copy link saved, a seasonal version takes seconds: a Witch hat for October, a Scarf for winter, a pride flag background in June, a Crown for an anniversary. Change it back just as quickly when the event ends.
