Fantasy Picrew Maker: Your original character

Fantasy Picrew Maker

Elves, tieflings, fairies and adventurers. Pointed ears, horns, wings, capes and any skin color.

Skin tone

Fantasy makers are a popular corner of Picrew, often used by people who need a face for a tabletop character. A Dungeons and Dragons sheet has a box for a portrait, and not everyone at the table can draw. This maker fills that box in a few minutes.

It opens on the Skin and ears tab because ancestry is the first decision in most fantasy systems. From there, add horns, wings, a tail and an adventuring outfit.

Building common fantasy ancestries

None of these are locked presets. They are combinations of ordinary parts, so you can bend them to your setting.

  • Elf and half-elf: Elf or Long elf ears, Long straight or Long side part hair, Thin arch brows.
  • Tiefling: Horns from Headwear, Demon tail, a red, blue or lilac skin tone, Sharp eyes and a Fang.
  • Fairy or pixie: Fairy wings, Elf ears, Space buns, Sparkle eyes and a green or lilac skin tone.
  • Orc or goblin kin: green skin, Elf ears, Fang, Thick brows and a Scar.
  • Aasimar or angel: Halo, Angel wings, pale hair and a gold accent.
  • Catfolk and foxfolk: Cat or Fox ears with the matching tail and Whiskers.

Class and role through clothing

The Tunic with its belt is the base for rangers, rogues and fighters. Add the Cape for a paladin or a noble. The Witch hat with the Dress or Tunic makes a wizard or warlock in two taps. A Crown marks royalty, and the Scarf suits travelers and rogues.

Color tells the rest. Greens and browns for rangers and druids, deep blue or purple for arcane casters, white and gold for clerics, black with one accent for rogues and warlocks.

Using the portrait at the table

For a character sheet or a virtual tabletop token, switch to PFP and download the square portrait with a solid background. Most virtual tabletops crop tokens into circles, so keep horns and hat tips inside the frame. For a handout or a campaign wiki, the full body image with a Transparent background drops onto any page.
