Create an original character from first idea to finished picture, with a profile to go with it.
Creating an OC is two jobs. One is the look. The other is the person: what they are called, what they care about, how they talk. A good OC creator helps with the first and gives you a place to start on the second.
Use the maker above for the look. The sections below are a short worksheet for the rest.
Open the Eyes tab first. Expression sets the personality, and the rest of the design should agree with it. Then choose hair, an outfit that fits their daily life, and two or three colors. Add a single distinctive item last. When you are happy, download the picture and press Copy link to keep the design editable.
Copy this list and fill it in. Short answers are fine.
First OCs often share the same traits: a tragic past, unmatched power and no flaws. Those are fine starting points, but a character gets interesting when something costs them. Give your OC an ordinary weakness, such as being late, stubborn or a bad liar, and a relationship with someone who is not impressed by them.
Post the picture with the profile underneath. For a matching avatar, switch to PFP and download the square crop of the same character. Images made here are free to use on any site, including for commissions and adoptable designs you draw yourself afterwards.
Load a look into the maker, then change whatever you like.
