Accessory color

In The Amazing Digital Circus, people wake up inside a digital world wearing a cartoon body they did not pick and cannot take off. Each avatar is based on a toy or stage figure: a jester, a rag doll, a chess piece. Your OC is another person who put on the headset.

The maker opens on Headwear with the Jester hat on. From there, decide what kind of toy the avatar is and how the person inside feels about it.

Pick the avatar type

Avatars in the show are toys and performers. Choose one and build around it.

Jester or clown: Jester hat, two contrasting colors, Blush for painted cheeks.
Doll: Braids or Twin tails, a Dress, Dot eyes and a Bandage for a stitched patch.
Animal toy: Bunny or Bear ears, a Bow tie and bright fur color.
Stage performer: Eye mask, Cape and Crown for a magician or ringmaster feel.

Primary colors and odd eyes

The circus uses toy-box colors: red, blue, yellow and green at full strength. Pick two for the outfit and put them side by side. A Checker background in the same two colors matches the show's sets. Eyes are where the unease shows. Round eyes with Worried brows read as someone who is not coping. Dot eyes read as someone who stopped trying.

The person inside

What makes these characters work is the gap between the cheerful avatar and the frightened human. Give your OC a coping style: jokes, denial, rules, anger. Then choose a new name for them in the circus's playful style, short and bouncy. Nobody there remembers the name they arrived with.
